Kurt Schlesinger was born on 6 October 1913 in Vienna. He fled Austria at the age of 25. In the Werkdorp he works as a farmer. Kurt arrives in June 1939 in the Werkdorp. He is 25 years old. After the Werkdorp was evacuated on 20 March 1941, he found shelter with the Waldeck family on Amstellaan in Amsterdam. Kurt married Elli Hans in Amsterdam on 11 July 1942. Kurt and Elli both went on the first transport to Auschwitz. Kurt was killed on 19 August 1942, Jenni Elli more than a month later.
